Air Operator Certificate Extension
Ukrainian Helicopters’ Air Operator Certificate has been extended to 26 January, 2016.
This certificate confirms that the Company is authorized to perform commercial air operations in accordance with the Operations Manual and the Air Operator Certification Rules approved by the order of the State Administration of Ukraine for Aviation Safety Oversight.
In hindsight, Ukrainian Helicopters was founded in 2002 and received Air Operator Certificate in 2003. In 2005 and 2006, the company received a status of an official air carrier of the World Food Programme and the United Nations respectively.
In over 14 years of operations in 19 countries, Ukrainian aircraft transported more than 570 passengers and 32 tons of cargo. The overall flight hours in peacekeeping, humanitarian and relief missions amounted 123 700 hours.
