Drones for Defenders: The airline "Ukrainian Helicopters" has delivered another batch of "birds" to the frontlines
Every day, every minute, every moment, we are grateful to our military for their protection. The mornings we wake up to, the people we can embrace, the routine tasks that once seemed ordinary - these have all become precious. And all of this is thanks to our powerful and brave defenders. To the guys and girls. Undoubtedly, to them.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, PJSC "Ukrainian Helicopters" has been continuously supporting the Ukrainian army. The company has allocated over 140 million UAH for defense and support of the military who are protecting us from russian invaders.
Today, another aid package worth nearly 2 million UAH was delivered to the front. The executive director of PJSC "Ukrainian Helicopters," Serhii Yarovyi, presented fifteen fully equipped Mavic 3T drones to the deputy commander of the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Galician Brigade, which is actively defending the country's sovereignty. These "birds" will fly to protect Ukrainian positions, conduct reconnaissance, adjust fire, and help manage personnel.
"The mission of each of us is to be as helpful as possible. Our company receives requests from different units. There are brigades we've been working with for years, but we try to assist everyone. This is a common cause, a shared fight. It would be great if every business took at least one unit under its wing and helped. We have already made that decision. We opened a 'Support Center for Combatants and Families of Fallen Soldiers' at the airline and direct aid to those who truly need it," added CEO Serhii Yarovyi.
The deputy commander of the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Galician Brigade thanked "Ukrainian Helicopters" for their support and added that delivering drones to the military is an important and necessary step.
"This is yet another of our meetings. We have repeatedly received valuable 'gifts' from the Airline, totaling nearly 10 million hryvnias. These include drones, electronic warfare equipment, and other essential tools to support our military unit. Every month, we need about one and a half thousand of these 'birds.' The guys reprogram them on-site and actively use them in their positions. It's crucial because it saves lives," Mr. Mykola says gratefully.
All the drones sent to the military are equipped with thermal cameras. They work highly effectively on the battlefield, detecting enemy movements in low-visibility conditions, especially at night. The drones are used for reconnaissance and surveillance, providing accurate information on enemy locations and helping to camouflage our positions.
"We must not stop. We are helping, and we will continue to increase our support for our military so that our men and women return home alive," Serhii Yarovyi concluded the meeting.
The war continues. We must remember this and direct all our efforts toward supporting the army. All the simple joys we experience at home are thanks to our unbreakable defenders. We thank them for their resilience. Let's keep working!
