Optoelectronic surveillance system

Using the surveillance system, the operator performs the following operations:

- patrolling

- surveillance

- monitoring;

- reconnaissance.

The system allows for detection, identification, quantitative and qualitative assessment of objects and the range to the target with the ability to record and store in the infrared spectrum during the day and night.

Dual mode searchlight

The searchlight can illuminate an object at a distance of one kilometer. The searchlight is equipped with the following filters:

- an infrared filter used at night, with PNL-3 night vision goggles;

- yellow filter, used in smoky conditions;

- red filter, used for lifting operations with a winch or external suspension system.

The searchlight is synchronized with the surveillance system, which allows illuminating an object along one line of sight.

ТВЗ-117ВМА engines

The modified ТВЗ-117ВМА engine differs from the ТВ3-117ВМ engine by a number of design changes to engine components and assemblies, and has an improved automatic fuel control and supply system.

Design changes to engine components and assemblies are aimed at:

- increasing the efficiency of the turbine and compressor,

- ensuring that the engine's takeoff power is maintained at altitudes and ambient temperatures,

- ensuring stable engine operation at low ambient temperatures,

- improving the cooling efficiency of heat-loaded engine parts, and strengthening individual design elements,

- increasing engine service life.

Dust guards

Dust guards for the engines are installed to reduce abrasive erosion and the risk of damage from a foreign object, especially when operating in dusty and sandy environments. Dust-contaminated air enters the air particle separator and passes through inertial air cleaners with a rotational speed of 11,200 rpm.

Reinforced rescue winch

The winch is designed for lifting on board or lowering one or two people during rescue operations. As well as loads weighing up to 272 kg from the helicopter hover mode to a height of 88 meters both above land and water.

Missile defense system

The system is designed to automatically detect, identify and prevent attacks by man-portable air defense systems by emitting dipole reflectors and false heat targets (IR traps). The system automatically detects the missile threat, develops and optimizes a countermeasure program, initiates the release of traps and notifies the crew of the threat (visual and audible signals).

Additionally, the helicopter is equipped with armor plates in the cockpit to protect the crew from damage by 7.62 caliber small arms. The protection class is 4. They are mounted on sliding blisters and behind the pilots' backs. To protect the crew and passengers, a set of Kevlar panels is also installed inside the cabin and cockpit.
