Support for veterans: Ukrainian Helicopters presented valuable gifts to heroes in Irpin

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, “Ukrainian Helicopters” has not only actively supported the Ukrainian army but has also provided strong support to veterans and their families. During this time, the airline has donated a total of 212.6 million hryvnias in charitable assistance.

Today, representatives of the company visited Irpin to meet with veterans, and this time, they decided to create a true celebration for them. Our team reached out to the veterans beforehand to find out what they really needed and purchased gifts based on their requests.  

The veterans primarily requested equipment: laptops, tablets, phones, and power stations to ensure electricity even in the toughest conditions. They wanted computers for future employment, everyday life, or pursuing personal hobbies. All this equipment was delivered to the veterans in Irpin, where they live, after gathering them for a warm-hearted event. Each veteran received exactly what they had requested, with the total value of all gifts amounting to nearly 700,000 hryvnias.

"For us, it was important not just to buy random gifts, but to provide targeted assistance based on the real needs of veterans. An individual approach allows us to better understand how we can be of help. That's why we asked which equipment or devices are currently necessary for the veterans, to bring the greatest joy to these Heroes," commented Lesia Chervinska, the airline's Communications Director.

The veterans expressed gratitude for the support and attention to their requests upon receiving the equipment.

"Thank you for the warm and positive reception. I really enjoyed the event. I received an EcoFlow as a gift, just as I requested. With the current electricity issues, it’s extremely relevant. I want to thank Ukrainian Helicopters for creating this celebration for veterans. It's crucial for us to feel remembered, to know we’re not alone, and these events are a further testament to the gratitude shown to every Hero," shared veteran Yevhen warmly.

The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with the communal institution of the Kyiv Regional Council, the Kyiv Regional Center for Support of Ukraine's Defenders named after Vitalii Anatoliiovych Baranov.

“Ukrainian Helicopters” understands that supporting our veterans is not a one-time action. The airline continues to work on new initiatives and projects aimed at assisting the military. We are confident that only by working together and combining our efforts can we bring victory closer and ensure a better future for Ukraine.
