“Ukrainian Helicopters” gifted a new smartphone to an orphaned boy
“Ukrainian Helicopters” continues its charitable work to support orphaned children of fallen defenders. The airline has allocated approximately 13 million hryvnias and has taken 19 orphaned children under its financial care. Every month, each child receives 10,000 hryvnias, which they can use to choose a desired gift.
Recently, one of the children, Tymofii from Bila Tserkva, accidentally damaged his old phone. This immediately affected his studies and communication with peers. Upon learning of this situation, the company representatives quickly responded and purchased a new, modern smartphone for him.
"The phone is so cool. Brand new. It's exactly what I imagined. Now I won’t have to look at a broken screen and remember “Ukrainian Helicopters”. Thanks again for this gift. I'm happy," Tymofii shares his impressions.
This gesture is part of a broader initiative by the airline aimed at improving the quality of life for children who have lost their parents. Such actions demonstrate the deep social responsibility of the business and its commitment to supporting charitable efforts.
“We consider it our duty to provide for children who have lost their parents while defending our country. The goal of a conscious business is to create dignified conditions for their lives and development. This once again proves that together we can overcome any challenges,” commented Alina Adamchuk, head of the veterans' department at the airline.
This care for orphaned children is just a small part of the larger support the company plans to provide in the future. Together, we are stronger!
