The ICAO Institute of the National Aviation University successfully conducted a specialized course titled “Threat and Risk Assessment Methodologies for Civil Aviation.” Participants included representatives from "Ukrainian Helicopters."

The course program focused on deepening knowledge of the Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS) of ICAO, with a special emphasis on implementing proactive risk management in Ukrainian airlines. This aspect is critical for "Ukrainian Helicopters," which continues to carry out important operations in various regions of the world despite the closure of Ukrainian airspace.

“In aviation, as in other fields, there are various threats and risks that can significantly impact the safety of operations. We must timely identify hazards and detect threats and risks that affect our activities. If we understand these, we can ensure safety for ourselves and others. Passenger and crew safety are our highest priorities. We strive to continuously improve our threat and risk assessment methodologies to meet the highest international standards,” stated company representative Ms. Olga.

The course concluded with the presentation of certificates confirming the high level of training for participants. The knowledge gained will help the airline implement new safety standards and respond more effectively to challenges in a state of war.
