Senior Airworthiness Engineer (Airframe & Powerplant Engineering / Maintenance Program)

Key responsibilities:

To maintain records and ensure the completeness and accuracy of documentation related to aircraft, components, and equipment.

To provide technical guidance to Technical Department specialists in the Airframe & Powerplant discipline.

To participate in quality control activities related to aircraft maintenance.

To analyze the causes of failures and malfunctions related to airframe and powerplant systems, identify maintenance personnel errors, and prepare recommendations for corrective actions.

To analyze the reliability of aircraft systems within the Airframe & Powerplant discipline and develop recommendations to improve aircraft reliability and reduce failures.

To manage warranty and claims activities with manufacturers and repair organizations regarding failures of aircraft and components within the Airframe & Powerplant area.

To participate in monitoring and improving aircraft maintenance programs.

To participate in developing tasks for aircraft component replacement, aircraft configuration schemes, aircraft weighing tasks, and aircraft painting schemes.

To participate in departmental work planning and financial planning related to aircraft operation, and provide recommendations for optimizing the use of material resources during aircraft maintenance and current repairs.

To participate in periodic theoretical and practical assessments of maintenance personnel.

To develop technical specifications for aircraft modernization projects within the Airframe & Powerplant discipline and monitor their implementation.To monitor aircraft life-limited records, operational and monthly utilization records, aircraft and component service life, and ensure timely updates following component replacements.

Candidate requirements:

• Higher specialized education with a qualification level of at least Specialist or equivalent, and relevant professional training.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the relevant field, including at least 3 years of experience in the maintenance of Mi-8MT (MTV) helicopters.
• Advanced professional knowledge of Mi-8MTV helicopter operation.
• Ability to analyze failures of Mi-8MTV aircraft, assess the technical condition of aircraft and installed components.
• Knowledge of Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) requirements.
• Good computer skills and confident use of software required for performing job duties.
• English language proficiency sufficient for effective performance of professional duties.
• Confident user of Microsoft Office, (including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel).
